Mission Statement

Arrive generates positive action and sustainable advancement to empower children in impoverished regions of the world by providing shelter, promoting good health, offering access to education and giving at risk children tools and opportunities for a successful, independent, and fulfilling life.

Arrive in Kenya is an American 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization, meaning all donations are tax deductible. EIN# 46-2565243.

Arrive is is dedicated to improving the lives of the most vulnerable children around the world. In partnership with local organizations, Arrive restores hope and self-confidence by empowering at risk youth, orphans, and street children. Arrive’s philosophy is: unlocking potential by empowerment through opportunity.

Arrive partners with local Kenyan non-profit organizations and together, we've established and financially supported multiple childrens' homes and other projects in areas such Kisii County, Kenya; and Uriri (Migori County, Kenya; in partnership with Light Uriri), both villages in the rural western Nyanza Province of Kenya. The children Arrive rescues immediately move from a life of drug addiction, starvation, and homelessness to one of hope and opportunity. Every child goes to school, sleeps in his or her own bed, eats three healthy meals per day, lives a healthy and sober life, and is happy. Most importantly, they learn skills that prepare them for a fulfilling and successful life after school.

Arrive also hosts volunteers from around the world to come to rural Kenya. Volunteers have many choices for their program but all visitors are immersed in local culture. Volunteer projects fall under one or more of the following categories: education, health, and community development.

Arrive strives to build not only long-lasting, but environmentally sustainable infrastructure on the ground. This may include vegetable farms, the use of solar energy, the presence of livestock, and more. Not only does this practice help the environment, environmental sustainability is closely correlated with financial sustainability and the long-term goals for Arrive.

Vision

The vision of Arrive is to take this successful model and help children in danger all over the world. Focusing on rescuing street children and orphans, sustainability, and building a fulfilling life for every child, Arrive will one day empower at-risk children everywhere by offering them the opportunity for success. If our model is successful, scalable, and replicable, the sky is the limit!
